2017 SUMMER TWILIGHT SOCIAL HOCKEY /FAST 5 COMPETITION
Registrations open now-FAST 5….. Fast, furious and fun!
Great way for hockey players to get the fitness levels up before the winter season begins!
5 aside including goalkeeper-we do have some keepers available for teams. Full field rules apply.
If more sedentary is your style then enter in the SUMMER SOCIAL Grade for Novices, Families, Students, Work Colleagues, Friends or Players who want a “social experience where fun is top priority”
Game: Six a-side, Pushing only, on 1/3rd turfs, small net goals
Teams: Can be of mixed gender and age, however No Senior Division 1 players are permitted to play in this grade.
Day/Time: Sunday’s 5.00pm – 8.00pm (depending on numbers)
Sunday 12 February 2017– Sunday 19 March 2017
6 week competition
Cost: $25.00 per team, per game -Must be paid on the night.
Or: $130.00 if you pay in full on first night

M.A.D Hockey Camp
How M.A.D. about Hockey are you?
This residential camp is the perfect way to show just how mad you are about hockey!
Bring your A-game, stamina to last 3 intense days and join with a bunch of players from around your region, in what will possibly become – a highlight of your holidays!
The camp is designed for Year 7&8 and U15 aspiring hockey players with ability groupings allowing for maximum uptake in the hockey sessions. Off the field, players will take part in a raft of fun filled activities.
Headed by Kathy Norman (Central Community Hockey Manager), the camp brings together a group of very talented Central coaches, including Verity Sharland (JBS
coach), Pippa Norman (FBS), Joe Hanks (NZ Development Squad & U18 Central Coach) and Steffan Fastier (JBS GK coach).

Hockey Turf: Requests to book the playing turf must be made through the turf office in advance. Please check the turf calender(above) for available dates/times prior to requesting use of the turf. This is kept as up to date as possible. Pre – booked sessions have priority over casual users of the turf.
Upstairs Pavilion: The Horowhenua Sports Turf Trust hires out the upstairs/kitchen facilities to non- hockey groups. Requests are to be made through the turf office detailing date/time and numbers attending. The office will confirm availability and cost.
