Congratulations to the following girls for making the 2012 U 11 Girls Rep team:

The selectors would like to thank all the girls that trialled this year. We were very impressed with the skill level and attitude of all the players. Congratulations to the girls that made it and to the girls that didn’t make the team, well done for trying out and getting this far. If any injuries occur to the selected players you may be called into the team so keep fit and keep practicing with your school teams.

This year’s U15 and U13 tournaments:

U 15 Championship Boys: Napier 1st – 6th October 2012

U15 Premier Girls: North Harbour 1st – 6th October 2012

U 13A Girls Collier Trophy: Auckland 8th – 13th October 2012

U 13A Boys Hatch Cup: Christchurch 8th – 13th October 2012

U 13B Girls Rawleigh Trophy: Wanganui 8th – 13th October 2012

U 13B Boys Curtis Cup: Levin 8th – 13th October 2012

Trials for both grades are to be set for early to mid June – dates to be set once Coaches have been appointed.

Coaches applications close Friday 18th May.

National U21 Tournament starts Monday

The National Under 21 Tournament begins next week, running from May 7-12 and will be hosted by Waikato Hockey at the Gallagher Hockey Centre.
Good luck to all the teams competing at the tournament.

24^th Annual General Meeting and Awards Dinner – Thank you
A huge thank you to all of those that attended a very positive and encouraging AGM and Awards dinner in Wellington last weekend.

Reminder to Finance Officers for Associations – 2011 / 2012 Affiliation Fees (Registrations)

2011 / 2012 Affiliation Fees fall due as follows:

10%        – 30th April 2012

30%        – 31st May 2012

60%        – 30th June 2012

This one has caught a few associations out, so please note – GST is still applicable on these invoices and as MYOB presents the GST at the bottom of the invoice you will need to add GST to your three instalments to ensure you pay the total of the invoice.

That is, the three separate instalments shown on the one invoice appear as the GST exclusive figure, then GST is added at the bottom of the invoice to equal the total amount due.  If you only pay the amount shown against the instalment you will not have paid the GST on that instalment. So please remember to pay the GST inclusive figure, which is the amount shown as your instalment on your invoice plus GST.
